Hello my name is Stanley; I'm 19 years old and I'm part of the Universal church and the YPG (youth group) here in Houston, TX. And well how to start: my life before coming to the church was a disgrace; very painful to live. I was only 11 but had already become addicted to the pornography and my life after that was just disappointing. I wanted to be a good student in school but I was just so depressed I didn't know. After turning 13 I started to be a troublemaker at school and home... I picked fights even though I really didn't want to. My parents were always yelling at each other. at 17 I had gotten into a fling with a girl I thought was my girlfriend and I later found out she cheated on me, my addiction had gotten worse and fighting with my family all the time until one day I said: "ENOUGH! I want to go to church" and I made a prayer and asked God to send me somewhere I could be happy and change... Now almost 2 years later I've transformed and God is blessing me now more than ever... I've had jobs, graduated high school, had a better relationship with my mom and dad, have been faithful as a member and leader in the youth group... For those youth who say "this is not for me". I tell you: "what's stopping you from trying?". I gave my life to God at 17 and I suggest to anyone (even youth) to consider the same; Before it's too late.
